Massage

Massage is a manipulation of the muscles and soft tissues of the body to reduce tension, stretch ligaments and tendons to keep them flexible, flush out toxins and promote balance in the body and mind. Benefits include improved circulation, improved skin and muscle condition, improved joint mobility, reduced oedema, stimulated digestion, uplifted emotional state and reduced insomnia.

The therapist will use different movements and pressure, depending on the desired effects, and can give more attention to specific areas to ensure the treatment is suited to the client's individual needs.

The duration of the treatment may vary from 30 minutes, during which the therapist would concentrate on one or two areas, up to 90 which would allow time for a full body massage.
