I have a BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation degree from the University of Salford, where I have gained experience through working within a variety of clinical and sport settings which include Sale Sharks RUFC, Orrell RUFC, Wrexham Crusaders and The Northern Ballet.
I have worked with Ian Horsley a renowned physiotherapist and a leading knee surgeon and his medical team at Warrington Hospital. This has enabled me to see patients ranging from elderly to Olympic athletes. Throughout my career so far I have volunteered to provide massage cover at events such as the Great Manchester run and the Wilmslow half marathon. I believe my experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to treat patient’s musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Alongside working at Anatomy, I also currently work with Bury RUFC providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation exercises, and pitch side assistance for games.
I find working as a sports rehabilitator is fun as each day is different and brings a new challenge. I enjoy helping patients to get back to every day activity and guiding them through each step of the rehabilitation process. My passion is to not only treat but get to the root of the problem and try to avoid a reoccurrence of injury.
I have also gained additional qualifications in acupuncture and shiatsu for sports injuries and conditions.
In my spare time I like to be active and spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy watching all sport my favourites include, football, rugby, athletics and dance.
