I have been in the Fitness Industry for over 12 years following the completion of a Sports Science Degree at Gloucestershire Uni. Since then I have worked for a number of the big leisure chains, working my way from a newly qualified Fitness Instructor all the way up to General Manager.

As well as this I have been an international athlete for the last 18 years. Over the years I have won 52 Welsh International Vests, won the Welsh Title 5 times and the British Title twice in 400m and 400m hurdles. During the last 12 months, I have also won the World and European Masters Athletics Championships for 400m hurdles and I am currently training to retain both titles in 2011 and 2012.

I strive for excellence in my own training and racing and will drive and push just as hard with my clients to ensure they get the best out of themselves. I enjoy working with all fitness levels, from the complete beginner to the advanced athlete. I have helped a wide variety of people over the years – from a bride who wanted to (and did!) lose 8 stone before her wedding day to an England World Cup Winning Rugby player.

Despite having worked in the sales and management side of the leisure industry, my passion lies in being in the gym helping people so I am delighted to be making the move back to Personal Training and working within the Anatomy family. Working alongside sports rehabilitators and physiotherapists gives me even more ability to help people get back in shape after injury as well as helping them to achieve their fitness goals.

Gone are the days of the normal gym and personal training environment and you will see from all the weird and wonderful equipment within Anatomy Chester that we will be offering you all the latest functional training equipment and methods that are around today. These include FitKit Training, Kettle Bells, Viper and Power Bag training. All these can get you into top shape in record time.
