Hayley Wild – Sports Therapist

Hayley Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BSc (hons) in Sport and Exercise Therapy in 2013. Throughout her time at university, Hayley gained invaluable experience working at events and places such as The Great North Run, Leeds Carnegie RUFC, as well as university sports clubs and private practices. Since graduating, Hayley has worked for Stockport and Tameside NHS Community Rehabilitation team. She also continues to work for Bury FC Community Trust Team as their sports therapist.

Hayley sustained a knee injury when she was in her late teens, which put her out of sporting participation for a long period of time. The rehabilitation process of her injury was what made her passionate about choosing Sports Therapy as a career. She has the ability to emphasise with those in similar situations and receives great satisfaction from seeing patients recover from injured to pre-injured state, knowing that she help aided in their rehabilitation process.

In her spare time, Hayley likes to keep active by going to the gym and playing netball.
