Franceska Sharp – Sports Rehabilitator

Since graduating from the University of Salford with a Sports Rehabilitation degree I have worked both in a clinic and sport setting where I have treated a variety of musculoskeletal problems.

Throughout my time at university, I experienced sports rehabilitation in a number of settings including several clinics and even with one of the country’s leading shoulder surgeons. This diversity has given me many perspectives on rehabilitation theories and techniques which have only helped to broaden my knowledge and ability.

As well as working here in the Anatomy clinic, I have also previously worked with Warrington Wizards Rugby League Club where I diagnosed and treated any injuries the players may be experiencing along with looking after them out on the pitch during a game. In addition to this, I spent a brief period involved in personal training which I believe to have helped me in expanding my sports rehabilitation skills.

I welcome the opportunity to work with a variety of people and consistently learn new things along the way. I enjoy watching numerous sports, e.g. Football, Moto GP and Gymnastics, and I am willing to have a go at most too. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
