Emily Voisey – Physiotherapist

Emily graduated from Keele University in 2015 with a first class honours degree in physiotherapy. Throughout her degree she gained experience working in a variety of settings, including the NHS, private gyms, and ending her degree spending 6 weeks working in a hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg.

As a registered member of the HCPC, Emily also continues to work in the NHS, rotating round specialities every 4 months gaining experience in managing musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological conditions. Emily is always keen to further her knowledge, attending regular in service training sessions and she has also recently completed the Bobath introductory modules 2 and 3.

Until the age of 18 Emily was a competitive swimmer, gaining a place to train on the age group talent programme at the University of Bath and becoming Western Counties Champion in the 100m and 200m breaststroke. She had the opportunity to travel across the UK and abroad to compete and has had her fair share of sports injuries, which helps when treating clients!
