I have been practising massage since 2004. I initially graduated from Manchester University in 2003 with a degree in Biology, but after doing an evening course in Swedish Massage, I decided to pursue a career as a Massage Therapist. I trained in Holistic Therapies at South Trafford College, and have been working in the industry since.
I am qualified in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stones Massage, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candle therapy and Reflexology. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Association of Reflexologists. I enjoy doing courses to learn new techniques, add new treatments to my range of therapies, and keep my skills up-to-date.
Reflexology is my favourite treatment by far, as I find the theory behind it fascinating and enjoy seeing the effects it can produce. I also love having it done myself! I find it particularly interesting when working with pregnant women and those trying to conceive.
I’m not very sporty, but I do enjoy dancing and going for walks, as well as reading, baking and listening to music. I am also into Japanese animation and comics and hope to visit Japan one day.
