Charlotte Harrison – Sports Therapist

Charlotte graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy degree. Throughout her university years she has gained experience from working at places such as the Great North Run and other charity events, Leeds Rhinos rugby league first team and private clinics around Leeds. She also was given the opportunity to work with the head physiotherapist of British Gymnastics, which was an experience close to heart due to her past loyalties and admiration of being an ex-gymnast herself. Once graduated Charlotte then travelled to Brisbane, Australia and was given the opportunity to work at the Brisbane Race to End Women’s Cancer and also worked with some inspirational athletes at the Coolangatta Gold Triathlon event.

Charlotte is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Within her role as a sports therapist she can perform duties of high quality in sports massage, exercise rehabilitation, taping, electrotherapy, cryotherapy and joint mobilisations. She has had past experiences with injury due to her years as a gymnast, therefore is very determined in providing the best rehabilitation and therapy to her clients.

In her spare time Charlotte loves to keep active and being outdoors. She runs regularly and loves an occasional hike in the Lake District. She is also wishing to pursue future study of a masters course in physiotherapy in the up and coming years.
