Jenn Fisher - Sports Rehabilitator

I have a BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation degree from Salford University and numerous years of experience in this field. This career allows for me to work with a variety of people with a mixture of injuries, hence making each day different and enjoyable.

I have worked with Doncaster Knights Rugby Union Club, within a private injury clinic and with young children which has allowed me to work with vast range of clients and treat injuries from all walks of life.

Working in a clinic setting I have built up the knowledge and understanding of how an injury can impact on clients’ daily life, and I enjoy the challenge of restoring normal function as quickly as possible working on a mixture of injuries particularly non sporting related ones.

I have volunteered my time to aid in the massage team at various marathon races including 4 days at the London Marathon. I spent 3 days providing pre event massage and spent the 4th day supporting a charity to provide post event massage to its athletes. These experiences have been rewarding and inspirational.

I enjoy watching most sports but my 2 favourite are football and rugby league. I also enjoy shopping and spending time with family and friends.
